Clear answers before the first conversation.
The questions we get asked most. Including the awkward ones.
Working together
How does the subscription work?
After walking the floor you get a plan with phases. Every phase has a fixed subscription fee and ends with a decision point: continue or stop. Within a phase we don't count hours. Custom work is included too, built and maintained through every upgrade.
How is the subscription fee set?
From five criteria: the number of processes, the number of users, the number of legal entities, the degree of customisation and the complexity of your business. You get that score before you sign. If your company grows or the scope shrinks, we review the fee together.
What are you judged on?
On what it brings your company, not on hours: on budget, a system that's used from day one, fewer tools, and an overview from a single source. We fix those agreements up front and check them at every visit.
How experienced are your specialists?
Every specialist has at least eight years in their own field, at several companies. No generalists, no junior consultants. You work directly with the person who does the work.
Can I combine several domains?
Yes, and also separately. An ERP project touches several domains anyway: purchasing, logistics, accounting, service. On top of that you can add automation, IT, sales, marketing or finance, or take just one of them, without ERP. Same approach, same phases, same subscription.
How does MPAT handle security and our IT rules?
We work on your network, under your rules: named access that your IT grants and revokes, changes agreed beforehand and documented, backups tested. The team comes from a regulated ISO 27001 environment and completed that certification track twice. Your IT checks, and an audit by your own or an external auditor is welcome.
What does a second opinion involve?
You already have an ERP project running, with another party, and it isn't working. We read your plan and your quotes, spend a few days in the system as it stands today, and give you an honest answer per domain: keep, repair or rebuild. And one recommendation: stop, adjust or continue. For that you pay one fixed amount, agreed upfront. What you do next, and with whom, is up to you.
What is the ERP scan?
Twelve statements about your systems, your numbers and the way you work, in two minutes. You see your score right away and what we would do, even if that is "nothing". No email address is needed to see your score; if you want the full result by email, you can.
Why are there no prices on the site?
Because a company with three warehouses is not a company with one site. In the first conversation you get an honest indication, the criteria it rests on, and the freedom not to go any further. Read how the fee is determined →
ERP subscription
What exactly is walking the floor?
For example, one of our specialists works a full day alongside a department. No interviews in a meeting room, but joining in: entering orders, picking, invoicing, answering phones. How many days depends on the number of departments and sites.
Is the subscription fee really fixed?
Yes, within the scope of the phase that's running. If something comes up outside that scope, we say so up front and you get a separate price for it. No surprises afterwards.
How long do I have to commit?
Per phase. How long a phase takes depends on the size and complexity of your company and is set in the plan after walking the floor. After every phase you decide whether we continue. After go-live the subscription continues monthly, quarterly or yearly. If we step into an existing environment, the notice period is one month; if we set everything up ourselves, we agree the notice period in the project.
Do you only work with Odoo?
No. We choose the package together with you. Odoo often comes out on top, but not always, and we say so when it doesn't. Licences you pay directly to the vendor; as a certified Odoo partner we receive a commission on them, and our advice doesn't depend on it.
What if it doesn't click after phase 1?
Then you stop. You keep everything that's been built, documented and transferable to another partner. That's the deal: we have to earn it again every phase.
What happens after go-live?
We come by monthly or quarterly. We look at what has changed in your company and what your team has started working around, and we adjust the system. Training new employees is included.
Where's the catch?
There isn't one, but there is a condition: one fixed contact person on your side who frees up time and is allowed to make decisions. Without that person every ERP project gets stuck, ours included.
